Howdy! My name is Cathy Nugent. I’m so glad you stopped by!
I am a certified wedding planner, coordinator, designer, and blogger based in Atlanta, Georgia who is really a Texas southern belle that traded her cowboy boots for some Georgia peaches. (Not really, I could never give up my boots!) I am a graduate of Texas A&M University with a degree in Marketing, a certification in Advertising, and a certification in wedding planning from The Bridal Society. I have an eye for detail, and planning is in my blood. I’m a sucker for pretty place settings, southern charm, and little details that speak from the heart. I have a high key obsession with Fixer Upper (Joanna Gaines is my spirit animal), and my husband says I spend way too much money on coffee.
In college, I dreamt of agency life and working with the development of brands as an Account Planner. But my-oh-my did I fall in love with weddings when I started dreaming of my own. My journey all started with a sass-infused wedding blog where I made way too many Beyonce references and had a dream of helping brides plan their special day. I’m a firm believer that a bride’s wedding is such a lovely and magical day. I mean, no wonder we dream about it since we were 12 years old. Every girl deserves their dream wedding that they have spent countless hours envisioning on Pinterest with hundreds of pins, and I dream of bringing each bride’s vision to life and making her wedding day as special as she deserves!
