It’s finally here!
This past Sunday (November 5th), the new Hearth and Hand with Magnolia Collection launched at Target. I have always loved Fixer Upper and Joanna Gaines’s sense of style. In fact, she’s probably the biggest influence on my own style and how I put things together for both weddings and my home.
My biggest regret is actually not going to Magnolia before I moved from Texas to Georgia. I mean, y’all, I drove through Waco almost every weekend and didn’t stop at Magnolia Market! What is wrong with me?! So when I heard that they were creating a more affordable line in partnership with Target, I lost my mind in the best way possible. Needless to say, with a little less than 2 weeks till we move into A Hosting Home, I’ve been anxiously awaiting its arrival. After all, a new home calls for new decor, right? (or can we at least pretend it does for my husband’s sake?)
My First Impression
With how much I love Fixer Upper and Joanna Gaines, you may be surprised at my first impression. My first impression of the Hearth and Hand collection was, unfortunately, not exactly what I had hoped for. However, you can tell they were really aiming towards the holiday decorating season with the blacks, whites, and greens. But, they somewhat made everything in the collection flow together – which is super smart on their part! When everything looks so amazing together in store, we are more likely to buy it all. It’s safe to say, that’s the case with a lot of people.
Don’t get me wrong. I LOVE this new line, and I LOVE decorating for the holidays. Getting to decorate and make our new home ours is one thing I’m extremely excited about with our big move. But, I am not as much of a fan of the green and the semi-bold plaid and striped patterns that you could tell were guiding it towards the holiday season. I just think that I prefer to keep it more neutral. When putting this post together, I felt like I gravitated more towards items that reflected the style they have with their traditional Magnolia Market / Home Collection online.
My Favorites From the NEW Hearth and Hand with Magnolia Collection at Target
House Log Holder // Matte Black Flatware // Foldable Storage Bin // Striped Pot Holder // Cocoa Pot // Stoneware Salt + Pepper Cellars // Cutting Board // Galvanized Tin Storage Bin // Antique Gold Place Card Holder // Cream + Black Kitchen Towel // Merry & Bright Gift Tag Set // Cream Place Cards // Jar Candle // Stoneware Cream + Sugar Cellars // Galvanized Tin Vase // Garland // Glasses
I think my favorites from the new Hearth and Hand Collection are really a little bit of everything. Better yet, they really are little things. I loved the stoneware cellars so much, and I really am a sucker for tea towels, galvanized tin, and garland on a farm table. Not to mention, I can’t wait to style some table settings for the holidays with that matte black flatware! Also, how adorable would that log holder be with birch logs? (and sitting by the fire with that cocoa pot styled with cookies on your coffee table!) It’s safe to say that my mind got to dreaming as I was looking through this new line. I think these picks of mine really centered on bringing people together in the coziness of fall and winter with a hosting heart.
However, I must have been really late to the party (already!) because some adorable picks I’ve seen from other bloggers must be out of stock – I can’t find them anywhere! I’m seriously low-key kicking myself that I didn’t snag them on launch day. I should have known there would be more of a rush to clean the shelves, but I seriously hope they restock often and quickly. I’ve got decor to buy and a house to style!
